With A Song In My Heart

With A Song In My Heart:  Had my pacemaker placed for the second time around, from when it was installed at first to help my heart…..I was born with an extra part in my heart and with a conditions where the two vents, just plain words not medical, that come out of the heart and have tops to them; open completely but do not close completely….With this condition I should have not being able to do any type of exertion, I have done a whole lot and keep on doing…Well, maybe You guessed it…The Lord is good all the time...   Since I started walking, as a tot, I did a whole lot…Rode a horse at two years old, and from then on…my family were ranchers…Started school around 4 1/2 years old, walked to school 5 days a week…Went to the beach daily, had to walk about 2-3 miles to and back…Skated and swam all the time….

In school and college, was in every sport You can think girls can do, including swimming, volley and basket ball even tried tennis, did not have a coach at the last one, so just did it a few times… Needles to say never experience any shortness of breath, got tired (mean really tired), maintained a regular diet…Never having to really watch how much I ate, kept the same weight all the time….

With A Song In My Heart

When I had my heart attack…Even my regular doctor could not believe it, since he knew all what I did regularly in  my daily life…Did worked 24/7 at a motel with the help of my sons and my husband (he worked at Yellow Freight System, as a Coordinator) with shifts of 12 hours 3-4 days a week.   As a family we have being very active in the community, helping at our church, schools, Barstow Chamber of Commerce, various clubs, in all the city events.  Is very rewarding to do things in Your town, with a Song in Your Heart.   Every time I kept getting the symptoms of heart attack,  I kept doing EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)  and stave the heart attack for almost two years.  What caused my heart attack was stress, yes preoccupation…Guess it had to happen in order to learn what it’s said:  “If you can not fix or do anything about a problem, put it in The Lord’s Hands and forget it.”  Yes it’s easy said than done…But, as I have learn it can be done!   Yes, number one killer is the heart…We have to work together at getting this number completely down, and we can, if all of us worked together….
